Usage
Use this template to add a reference to a taxon of rank higher than genus (family, ordo...) on the web site AlgaeBase.
Note: This template can be used in conjunction with {{Taxoconflict}}, {{Taxa}}, {{Genera}} or {{Genera2}} with parameter "source=AlgaeBASE" (See here the different values for source)

Parameters
  • taxonId
the identifior of the genus. Current template now manages the 2 kinds of identifior:
  • the old ones: they are integers (like 4617)
  • the new ones: they are long strings (like ya5c38e2f45de83a7)
Sample (for Ceramiales): ya5c38e2f45de83a7
  • taxonName (optional)
the name of the taxon.
Sample (for Ceramiales): Ceramiales
  • author (optional)
The name of the author
Sample (for Ceramiales): Oltmanns
  • validity (optional)
If the taxon is considered as unaccepted or synonym by AlgaeBASE, add nv.
