Format

Notes

• 1 = (Organization) Organization which assigned the serial
• 2 = (Serial) Full serial
• 3 = (Variant) Aircraft specific variant (for organization variant)
• 4 = (Family) Aircraft family (for family by serial)
• n = Number portion of serial shown on aircraft (for Number n on aircraft)
• n2 = Alternate number displayed on the aircraft
• cn = Construction number carried by aircraft if known
• orgfam = Aircraft family (for organization family by serial)
• mfr = Manufacturer name to use in description in front of 3
• class = Aircraft class to use in description (e.g. helicopter) (default = aircraft)
• note = Additional notes to add to description (e.g. formerly registered as foo)
• catbyop = no = Do not categorize in Operator variant, but simply in variant, use for variants which were only ever operated by a single operator
• alt-regcat = Alternate category for registration if the category name does not follow the "Category:(aircraft) by registration" format

Results

• English: mfr variant (c/n cn) class assigned serial number 2 by the 1 (note)
• Category:organization variant (sorted by serial)
• Category:organization family serials (sorted by serial) (if exists)
• Category:organization aircraft serials (sorted by serial)
• Category:family by serial (sorted by serial) (if exists, otherwise:)
  • Category:manufacturer aircraft by serial (sorted by serial) (if exists)
• Category:Number n on aircraft (if n is specified)
