Copyrights[edit]
If you think that this page contains only old pictures, and a few recent ones, please take time to consider the licensing rules on Wikimedia Commons.
- When we don't know the name of the author, we can apply the copyright tag {{PD-old}} ... for works in the public domain because its copyright has expired. This applies to the European Union, the United States and those countries with a copyright term of life of the author plus 70 years. In practice it applies to most of SCI pictures until 1937.
- Works already published on the internet with a clear autorisation to use it free, may be copied to Wikipedia Commons, mentionning the autorisation and with the Creative Commons copyright tag: {{cc-by-sa-3.0}}. Example: autorisation on SCI-Switzerland web site and image SCI-formation.jpeg.
- Recent works done by yourself may be copied to Wikipedia Commons with the Creative Commons copyright tag: {{PD-self}}.
If you have any question, please send me an email. Thank you for your help.
