Scientific name

Please mention a source for the correct scientific name - relying on Wikipedias makes no sense in such cases ... I did a www-search on this about a year ago but was not sure after that - so ... is Dorcus parallelipipedus or Dorcus parallelopipedus the right name? And who says that? Please always mention the source (by the way, my book (ISBN 3-576-11476-9) says "parallelepipedus" :-) Greetings -- Schusch 23:46, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

Dorcus parallelopipedus is an old name, a kind of misspelling in the nomenclature, see here. B kimmel 16:59, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
