Unfortunately, a great number of these have archival numbers that don't match at all with their correct numbers in the database. - Themightyquill (talk) 14:13, 8 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

What disturbs you in this category? This category was created to keep the overview more than approx. 2500 pictures from the National Archive in UK on the subject Gold Coast in 1876-1957. With this category should be grasped:
a) which pictures were already categorised and
b) which treatments already exist to every original picture.
Then in the single categories should appear ONLY the treatments, not the original to which is expelled in the description so that this category should also be a storage tank for everybody (UK) originals which exist on this subject. So, why do you have a problem with it? By the abolition of this ordinal criterion you create more chaos than you believe. --Katharinaiv (talk) 15:51, 8 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Katharina, I'm not sure what you're talking about. I have no problem with this category. My problem is that the filenames of many of the files in this category are incorrect. They all include a "CO XXXX-X-X" number, but these don't match up with the CO number assigned to the files by the National Archives. Tracking down the source is difficult when you've got the catalogue number wrong. - Themightyquill (talk) 17:09, 9 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
