Apologies to readers of this gallery
[edit]In my original version of this gallery, I provided various background notes that explained why the number/location/dates of the various gold post boxes in that gallery don't match up with the details given in the woefully inadequate Wikipedia article or even in the pre-launch press releases about this scheme. As seen above, that has subsequently removed, because apparently, "Wiki is for articles, Commons for media". For the confusion/errors/doubt that will no doubt cause you, for that I can only apologise, and recommend you read the previous version which can still be found here. Also, please ignore the new introduction - it is wholly inaccurate and doesn't at all reflect how the paint scheme was conducted (as you will see if you analyse the table). I tried to remove it, but apparently it being incorrect is "no good reason" to remove it, so again, my apologies to anyone who suffers because of this. Ultra7 (talk) 12:40, 10 October 2013 (UTC)
