Routemaster bus RM613

English: Routemaster bus RM613 (reg. WLT 613, ex-TAS 419) was delivered to London Transport in February 1961. It saw continual use in London into the privatisation era, passing in 1994 into the fleet of Stagecoach East London. It was immediately designated the showbus of Upton Park garage (code U), being maintained in top condition for exhibitions and special events, and seeing just intermittent normal service. Between March and August 2003 it was briefly re-registered as TAS 419 before regaining its original registration on withdrawal, upon which it was immediately acquired for preservation by RM613 Preservation Group. It initially retained it's Stagecoach London fleetnames, but has since been given classic London Transport lettering.
