English: Routemaster bus RM349 (reg. WLT 349) was delivered to London Transport in May 1960. It saw continual service in London until being finally withdrawn from Brixton (BN) garage in May 1987. In the August it was bought for preservation, appearing at several rallies and events since. In April 1998 it was repainted into a 1971 version of its former London Transport livery, with grey cantrail band, 'open' style bullseye fleetname, and black outlined gold fleetnumbers. The grey band, open bullseye and gold fleetnames were all replaced in time by a white band, white block bullseye, and white fleetnumbers, as the LT standard livery. Before the grey band, the standard had been cream. The open bullseye had replaced the simple block lettered LT fleetname, and was only seen on RMs during 1971, applied to just 100 buses.
