Whitelist Tai Ahom alphabet

File name from Commons cannot be used in Tai Ahom text, Please add Tai Ahom alphabet to Commons, the file name cannot be used in Tai Ahom text at all, see image for problem content in the same way, in 2020, I uploaded a file to Commons with Myain Gyi Ngu Karen text, I'm facing the same problem, so I can't upload at all,

I went through # File names with multiple extensions and realized there are quite some of the possible file extensions that aren't included. I suggest changing from:

(png|gif|jpe?g|tiff?|xcf|pdf|mid|ogg|ogv|svg|djvu|oga|flac|opus|wav|webm)

to

(a?png|gif|jp[egs]g?|tiff?|xcf|pdf|midi?|kar|svg|djvu?|og[avgx]|flac|opus|spx|wav|web[mp]|mp[ae23g]g?|stl)

I'm no expert in regex so feel free to check for any mistakes but I think the regex covers every possible file extension listen in Special:MediaStatistics. Jonteemil (talk) 19:42, 22 July 2023 (UTC)
