New options[edit]

I was thinking maybe we could use templated reasons like: "{{Blocked proxy}}" instead of "Open proxy or zombie (more info)" Just a suggestion. --Kanonkas(talk) 21:32, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Abusing multiple accounts[edit]

Perhaps we could link that to a policy or whatever telling when we block and for how long. Also the text says Abusing multiple accounts. If we always block all users that have more than one account (except for bots), then we could change to Having multiple accounts. --MGA73 (talk) 20:42, 18 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Using multiple accounts are not away from policy, If those accounts are not used for doing damages to commons.--...Captain......Tälk tö me.. 03:59, 19 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I have multiple accounts
primarily to avoid the possibility of confusion if another James Woodward comes along who uses the nickname "Jim". As I understand the rules, it is perfectly legal to have more than one account, even if they are undisclosed, as long as you do not abuse them by voting more than once in discussions. While I am proud to contribute to WP:EN and Commons under my own name, I sometimes wish that I had become a Commons Admin under a pseudonym and used User:Jameslwoodward only for contributions.      Jim . . . . Open proxy / zombie[edit]

Is really needed to split the reason in two lines? I don't think so. While they're not the same thing, the same policy aplies. Otherwise the reasons can be written manually. --MarcoAurelio (talk) 09:21, 2 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
