It would be helpful if Commons users who find worthwhile uses for this tool could note them here. I have so far found one use, which is not quite the intended use case, but close: a file that is likely, but not provably, in the public domain; but that is also permissible under "fair use" on the English Wikipedia. We moved it using the tool, but I had to remove the template the tool added, since it was not accurate. Magnus Manske, any chance to get this tool back? It has some small issues which I fixed in User:Strainu/ExCommons.js, but I can't make the OAuth work correctly as I get a 500 from the server.--Strainu (talk) 14:41, 12 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
