Deutsch: Das Marine-Ehrenmal Laboe ist als Gedenkstätte für die im Ersten Weltkrieg gefallenen deutschen Marinesoldaten errichtet worden, später kamen Daten der im Zweiten Weltkrieg gefallenen Seeleute hinzu. Seit der Übernahme durch den Deutschen Marinebund am 30. Mai 1954 erinnert es auch an die auf den Meeren gebliebenen Seeleute aller Nationen.

English: The Laboe Naval Memorial, located in Laboe (near Kiel) in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, was originally constructed to honor members of the German navy who died during World War I. The memorial was later expanded to include German sailors who died in World War II. Since May 30, 1954, when the memorial was taken over by the German Naval League, it also honors the navy sailors of all nations who died at sea.
