The list of Swiss municipal flags lists the flags of municipalities of Switzerland. Most municipalities of Switzerland have unique flags. Like the cantons of Switzerland, the municipalities each have an official flag and a coat of arms. The history of development of these designs spans the 13th to the 20th centuries. Due to the total number of municipalities, the directory will be on the top.

Roughly every 25 years, Switzerland stages a National Exhibition with the aim of offering a snapshot of the prevailing culture, politics and the Swiss economy. The first National Exhibition was held in 1883 in Zurich. Its central theme was the importance of school and education for economic growth.
