Upload the original audio as a new version[edit]

If this is technically possible, rename this file to “United States Navy Band — Anthem of Ukraine.mp3” and upload [1] as a new version of this file with the description “the original audio instead of lossy re-encodings”. VSL (talk) 06:12, 6 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

No, it wouldn't be a duplicate, it would be a different format. This is not considered a duplicate file on Commons. There's plenty of instances of the same image existing in different formats, tiff and jpg f.ex. TommyG (talk) 07:48, 6 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
