This does not seem to be very accurate, e.g. Liberia is claiming a 200Nm territorial waters area, making it outstanding from its neighbors.

This is a map of exclusive economic zones, not territorial waters --24.45.123.150 10:05, 22 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Nice image!

How did you make it? What sources did you use for the sea areas, and what is the license of the underlying world countries map?

Thanks! Syced (talk) 14:45, 14 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Today differenciate EEZ, add new countries (Southern Sudan, Eastern Timor, Montenegro) and some improvements since the hydrographic Navy maps. The map shows the "de facto" situation, not the numerous claims. --Maisrimer (talk) 16:42, 12 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Oh. I observe that updates and corrections are treated with contempt («no reason»). Well. We therefore have an obsolete map with errors, whereas we could have had an up-to-date map. Too bad for the readers. --Maisrimer (talk) 17:57, 28 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
