English: Yttrium, ultra high purity 99.999 % Y/TREM, pre-strained and annealed in high vacuum for ~108s to promote grain growth (strain anneal method) (sample from the collection of Ethan Currens). As well as an argon arc remelted 1 cm3 yttrium cube for comparison. Purity 99.9 %.
