Summary

[edit]
Description
English: This sound was constructed from timed samples and synthesizer noises. The program utilized was Fruity Loops Nine Producer Edition. The sound output from the program went to l/r channel rca cords. The rca cords were both inserted into a "crab" input to xlr adapter. The xlr output from the crab was lead to an input line on a yamaha mm1402 mixer. The line was panned to left, so only sound was audible in the left channel output of the mixer. The rca left output line lead to an input channel on an active nrc-804a gauge. The recording output of the nrc-804a was wired to an xrl that when into another open line-in on the yamaha mm1402, although this xrl from the nrc-804a was on a sound channel panned all the way to the right. Then, stereo out phone line when from the right mixer output stereo jack into a yamaha rx-770 amplifier hooked up to a single cerwin-vega vs-120 speaker group. A phone line leaving the moniter right output of the mm1402 mixer was lead into the input line-in jack onto the same computer the sound was originating from. The mission was to use a live wire while creating a very low "shape" with equalization, then adding the treble gradually using estimations within the equalization process. The result was less restricted to "banded" envelopes that may sometimes created a chaotic chord scale resulting in too much excess noise. The experiment is an example of creating a warm deep bass that leaves the computing power in the control of the mathematical structuring involved with creative equalization, not cpu processing of samples!
