Summary[edit]

Description
English: Why is this marker stone here? The initials on the stone are SCC, which I assume stand for Suffolk County Council, but this is not on the county boundary as that runs along the river waveney. It's not even a district boundary and to confuse things even further, there is an identical stone further along the road just before North Green Cottages. Shadingfield church can be seen on the horizon.
