Description
Deutsch: Ein Fluss fließt, weil Wasser auf der Erdoberfläche immer dem natürlichen Gefälle folgt. Alle Fließgewässer nehmen dabei den Weg des geringsten Widerstands. Flusskurven sind im Laufe der Jahrtausende natürlich entstanden. Sie heißen Mäander.
English: A river flows because water on the surface of the earth always follows the natural gradient. All flowing waters take the path of least resistance. River curves have developed naturally over the millennia. They are called meanders.
