Vinkanna i kraakporslin gjord i Kina cirka 1590-1600.
Nyckelord: keramik, vinkanna, kanna, Kannor, Kinesiskt porslin, Ming, Föremålsbild
Description
Svenska: Vinkanna. Bukig, indelad i sex fält, smal hög hals, utsvängd sexflikig mynning och lång smal s-formad pip. Dekor i blått. Wine-bottle, Kraak-ware, Wanli, c.1590-1600.Porcelain kendi in form of a pomegranate, decorated in underglaze cobalt blue. Ming dynasty, Wanli period (1572-1620)Kendi were primarily pouring vessels, or drinking vessels filled through the neck and imbibed from the spout. The form probably originated in India, spreading from there through Southeast Asia in many variations, and were even ordered for the Portuguese market. This kendi is decorated in typical Kraak style round its body, with a design of lucky emblems and flowers divided into panelled bands.
