Português: O concelho de Santana, situado na costa norte da ilha da Madeira, tem uma área de 96,2 km², onde habitam cerca de 8 800 pessoas.
Devido ao facto do concelho ter estado muito tempo inacessível por mar e terra, os seus habitantes preservaram caraterísticas que não sofreram influências exteriores.
