| Description | The night was tough. Freezing cold, I was under-clothed. We both were. Also I found it hard to breathe due to the dust from the ore itself and my scarf not being thick enough. What kept me going was staring up at the Milky Way. I must have done that for hours. It really was amazing. In this photo you can see the strong northerly wind that hit the train causing the dust to be pushed in one direction. To the left is Mauritania, and to the right is Western Sahara. |
