Summary[edit]
English: Tournai —Facades and roofs of the building located at 12 place Clovis, at the corner of rue Barre-Saint-Brice.
This corner house is composed of a traditional facade facing Place Clovis and a classic facade located at No. 1 rue Barre-Saint-Brice. This is the former "Cazier recran" founded in 1594 and rebuilt in 1759.. The classic stone and plastered brick facade is composed of two levels of three bays on a base and a street gable. The latter is decorated with scrolled triangular pediments and whose tympanum has remained unadorned. The penetrations with small woods have a stone frame in low relief. The median is decorated with a stone struck with the arms of Pierre Cazier. This facade was originally intended to have an entrance, as evidenced by the traces of the redesign of the basement under the central bay, which testifies to the past existence of a door. The traditional Tournai-style facade, made of brushed bricks and stone, is composed of a high rubble basement. It rises on two levels of two bays with blind bays. The building is extended by a wall with a small door. The building is housed under a slate roof.
