Description
English:
Former Aigner House. Two storey building with enclosed courtyard. First part built in 1884 planned by Nándior Jiraszek and Lajos Lechner. The tenement building,-with a 6 rooms suite, 2 smaller apartments on the ground floor,-was built for spice/food merchant Nándor Aigner and his wife Mária Pfann. In the first half of the 20th century it was remodelled, presumably for the Szeged branch of National Credit Institution Plc. - Here was born plaque to Gábor Agárdy (inst. 2022) - Facade sculptures: the avant-corps rising from the façade plane of the building is emphasized by four wall pillars, between which the arched niches are with figures placed on the tympanum. The reclining female and male figures are located above three tympanums. in the same pose for all three. The female figure has a falling shroud on her head, while the male figure has a fallen animal skin on her head. - 3 Széchenyi Square, Belváros (Inner City) neighborough, Szeged, Csongrád-Csanád County, Hungary.

Egykori Aigner-ház. Építés 1884, és 1894. Jiraszek Nándor (tervező), Lechner Lajos (tervező) eklektikus stílus. A bérház,-az emeleten 6 szobás lakosztály, 2 kisebb földszinti lakás,- Aigner Nándor fűszerkereskedő és neje Pfann Mária részére épült. 1894-ben épült az emeletes udvari rész. 20. sz. első felében átalakították feltehetően a Nemzeti Hitelintézet Rt. szegedi fiókja számára - A bejáratánál Ebben a házba született Agárdy Gábor (1922-2006)//Kossuth-díjas színművész, a Nemzet Színésze.//Születésének 100. évfordulója tiszteletáére állítatta:// Szeged Megyei Jogú Város Önkormányzata/Szegedi Nemzeti Színház/Varga Mátyás Színházpártoló Társaság//2022' És Homlokzati szobrok. Az épület homlokzatsíkjából kiemelkedő rizalitot négy falpillér hangsúlyozza, közöttük az íves fülkéket a timpanonokra komponált figurák töltik ki. A fekvő nő és férfi figurák három timpanon fölött helyezkednek el. mindháromnál azonos pózban.
