Description
English: STS-100 MPLM and an astronaut transferring a DSCU to ESP-1 on Destiny
  • Assisted by Endeavour's, Orbiter Vehicle (OV) 105, Remote Manipulator System (RMS), Mission Specialist (MS) Scott E. Parazynski transfers the Direct Current Switching Unit (DCSU) to the U.S. Laboratory / Destiny during the second Extravehicular Activity (EVA) of the STS-100 mission. This image was taken by fellow EVA astronaut Chris A. Hadfield of the Canadian Space Agency (CSA). The Multipurpose Logistics Module (MPLM) Raphaello, installed on Node 1 / Unity, and the newly installed Space Station Remote Manipulator System (SSRMS) are also prominent in this image.
