Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Stratford Canal cruising — it’s finger-pointing good! At Kingswood Junction, approximately halfway along the Stratford-on-Avon Canal, a wooden finger-post with carved ends and slightly decorative supporting brackets under each arm, warns boats coming from Kings Norton, at the northern end of the canal, to keep to one side or the other of the concrete nose, depending whether they want to continue down the canal to Stratford or divert on to the Grand Union Canal, which would take them onwards to Warwick and London or back towards Birmingham. Judging from the missing bricks at the very point, however, maybe a few boaters have been rather indecisive!
