Summary[edit]
DescriptionSpectra of Wolf 1346 (noao-03963).tiff |
English: Comparison of MARS observations of the spectrophotometric standard star Wolf 1346 using three different grisms: the VPH grism VG8050 (undeviated central wavelength = 8050 angstroms; ruling = 450lines/mm), and the old grisms GR730 (8010A, 300l/mm) and GR780-1 (9700A, 300l/mm). This shows the excellent performance of the new red-sensitive spectrograph on the Mayall 4-meter telescope, as well as the advantage of the new-style grating over the older gratings.
