Description
English: Tracing of flagellar waves and oscillation of a persistently swimming T . vivax cell in mouse blood. In this video, the oscillation of seven successive flagellar tip-to-base beats and the resulting flagellar waves that propel the trypanosome forward were traced in order to visualize and quantify the detailed swimming characteristics of the fast moving T. vivax form.
