Description
English: Grip strength meter test: As described in the text and in the manual provided by the manufacturer, the animals were allowed to grasp the metal grid and then they were pulled backwards in the horizontal plane. The force applied to the grid before the animal lost its grip was recorded as the peak tension and measured in grams. More details on the technique available are provided here: http://www.panlab.com/en/products/grip-strength-meter. The investigator performing the test was naïve to the experimental condition.
