Description
English: Single QD-labeled α7-nAChRs (white) in 21 div hippocampal interneurons transfected at 11 div with EGFP-gephyrin (green) and mCherry-Homer1c (red). Receptors are showing various different behaviors. Extrasynaptic confined and mobile, perisynaptic confined in glutamatergic and GABAergic synaptic sites and receptors swapping between perisynaptic areas. Scale bar: 1 µm.
