Português: Por entender que a vulnerabilidade da mulher é presumida, a Sexta Turma do Superior Tribunal de Justiça (STJ) decidiu pela competência da vara especializada em violência doméstica para julgar o caso de um homem acusado de agredir verbal e fisicamente a mãe de 71 anos.
Com a decisão, o colegiado reformou acórdão do Tribunal de Justiça de Goiás (TJGO) que entendeu não haver motivação de gênero no caso e, por isso, reconheceu a competência do juízo comum. Para a corte local, a vulnerabilidade da vítima não seria decorrência da sua condição de mulher, mas da idade avançada.
