Summary[edit]

Description
Objekt nabarven propidiumiodidem a fluorescíndiacetátem, excitace modrým světlem.
English: Moneses uniflora, as well as other representatives of the subfamily of the pear-shaped Pyroloideae, the seeds of microscopic dimensions are almost free of stockpiles. For this, at least from the beginning of life, they have to be nourished differently - they parasite on a sponge that is involuntarily alive. This phenomenon is called mycoheterotrophy. Image taken by florescence microscope. Object stained with propidium iodide and fluorescein diacetate, excitation with blue light
