Summary[edit]

Description View from the footbridge downstream on the Sarine; on the right, the Gérine flows into the Sarine. This is where the alluvial zones Bois de Dévin on the Gérine and Sarine: Rossens-Fribourg, which extends over 266 ha between Rossens and the dam in the Maigrauge, in Fribourg, meet. Both floodplains are listed in the Federal Inventory of Alluvial Zones of National Importance.
