Português: O ministro do Superior Tribunal de Justiça (STJ) Benedito Gonçalves homologou decisão do Tribunal Arbitral do Desporto (TAD), sediado em Portugal, que condenou o Clube de Regatas do Flamengo a pagar custas e demais encargos decorrentes de procedimento arbitral ajuizado pela Federação de Futebol do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (FERJ). A decisão do ministro foi publicada nesta sexta-feira (24).
A homologação do STJ é necessária para que uma decisão estrangeira tenha efeitos e possa ser executada no Brasil. O tribunal arbitral, eleito pelas partes para solucionar possíveis conflitos no âmbito do campeonato estadual do Rio de Janeiro de 2017, foi acionado pela FERJ para resolver uma divergência com o Flamengo sobre a exploração de espaços de publicidade nos jogos. Tendo a federação vencido a disputa arbitral, o clube foi condenado a pagar as custas do processo.
