English: Rough sketches of fighting vessels and sea planes Top left drawing is the submarine W4 launched in 1915 and completed in July 1916. She was transferred to the Italian navy on 7 August 1916 and was sunk by a mine off Capo Rodoni 4 August 1917. Below and to the right of the W4 is a TB13-class torpedo boat, formerly rated as a coastal destroyer. These boats were launched between July 1907 and May 1909 and were TB13 to TB36 inclusive.
The lower left image is one of the 'P'-class patrol boats numbered (with gaps) between P11 and P64. There were 44 of them in the class, launched between October 1915 and May 1918. They have a particularly low silhouette and were built with hardened-steel ram bows.
The bottom sketch is of the submarine E35, launched on 20 May 1916 by John Brown & Co. Ltd on Clydebank. She was broken up at Newcastle from September 1922. There are also a number of sketches of unidentifiable flying boats |
