Description
English: This image shows a postcard sent from Chicago, Illinois in August 1916. The postcard shows a caricature of a Dutch resident of the Roseland neighborhood and reads "I ISS CHUST SENDING YOU DIS FROM ROSELAND, ILL UNDT BELIEFE ME IT ISS SOME TOWN," mimicking the thickly-accented English of Dutch immigrants. The words "Roseland, ILL" are printed on a removable felt pennant.
