Power supply components of the Revox B215 cassette deck

Summary[edit]

Description
English: Power supply components of the Revox B215 cassette deck: two oversized diode bridges, a relay (black box between the two bridges), two Frako capacitors (side-mounted) and a Roederstein capacitor (upright). The Teutonic genius behind this design specified 400V, 3.7A DC bridges, but the actual devices on the PCB are 800V, 5A DC. Note that some small capacitors (black Panasonic) are not factory original (must be pale blue Philips). These, too, will be replaced as a precaution.
