Summary[edit]

Description
English: Revox B215 cassette deck - flying, piggybacked diodes and capacitor on the IO board. Although the capacitor is a later replacement, it's not a mod but a replacement of the original factory part. The diodes are factory original. Apparently, the maker found some flaws in the PCB design, but instead of redesigning it (and, probably, trashing the already-made boards) they simply added these flying contraptions right onto the leads of the ICs. This is an early production unit. Later (as attested by the service manual) the maker would add PCB tracks and contact pads for the capacitor, but not for the diodes.
