Description
English:
Stagecoach and envelope, wrought iron cantilever-like museum sign. Residential, late Renaissance, 16-17th century building with vaulted gateway. Its graffiti façade was covered by the Baroque plaster made in the 18th century. The upstairs rooms are stucco-decorated. Groundfloor remodelled to post museum (Est. 2004) A former owner of the house was Samuel Gerhauser, postmaster - 3 Rajnis Street, Kőszeg, Vas County, Hungary

Postamúzeum cégére. Kovácsoltvas, falra merőlegesen szerelt. Felső részén egy postakocsi, annak bakján ül a kocsis, tartja a gyeplőket, ostorával noszogatja a kocsi elé fogott lovakat. Alul egy levélboríték, amelybe villámok csapnak. Középen POSTAMÚZEUM felirat olvasható az északi oldalról (a déliről a tükörképe). Lakóház, késő reneszánsz, 16-17. század. Sgraffitós homlokzatát eltakarták a 18. században készült barokk vakolatarchitektúrával. Emeleti helyiségei stukkódíszesek. A földszinten Postamúzeum 2004 óta. A ház egykori tulajdonosa Gerhauser Samuel néhai postamester volt azonosító: 9118, törzsszám: 7888 - Vas megye, Kőszeg, Rajnis utca 3 helyrajzi szám: 1848
