Porslinskopp
Description
Most intriguing is the blue and white cup with gold decoration. This should be early French Saint Cloud porcelain, 1700-20, decorated with gold in a Paris workshop. This is very rare and a subject that I am researching at the moment, there are different classes of this type of work. The only concern here is that Samson copies of this do exist and can be quite difficult to identify, could you send me a higher resolution image? If you have an ultra-violet light the Samson piece should fluoresce yellow and the St. Cloud piece bright white
