Description
Deutsch: Rastplatz mit Ziehbrunnen in der Gemeinde Podersdorf am See, liegt in der Kulturlandschaft Fertő-Neusiedler See und im Europaschutzgebiet Neusiedler See - Nordöstliches Leithagebirge. Die Ziehbrunnen hatten bis in die Zeit nach dem 2. Weltkrieg große Bedeutung als Viehtränken, denn es gab eine jahrhundertelange extrensive Beweidung des Seewinkels mit Rindern, Schafen, Pferden und Schweinen, deren Ergebnis die heutige Steppenlandschaft ist. Tradition und Natur sind hier also untrennbar miteinander verbunden, weshalb auch heute noch bzw. wieder Weidetiere zum Erhalt der Landschaft eingesetzt werden.
