Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Beamish Museum, County Durham, England. This sign, located a few yards from the Pockerley tram stop, marks the start of the track that leads to the Pockerley Waggonway. It also helpfully informs visitors which locomotive is in steam - Puffing Billy, Steam Elephant or Locomotion No. 1. Puffing Billy gets the nod today it seems. Despite appearances, it's not mounted on the side of a building, but is a standalone wall, also featuring a seat - a wider angle image can be seen here (at Flickr).
