Summary[edit]

This is an image of a building or other location within the Pioneer Square-Skid Road Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The district has been successively enlarged, and hence has multiple NRHP IDs: 70000086, 78000341, and 88000739
Description
English: Panoramic view of Pioneer Square, Seattle, Washington, circa 1906. This is the "old" totem pole, and is before the pergola would be added in 1909. All major buildings here except the Hotel Seattle and the Olympic Block at far right still stand as of 2015.

The clock to the left of the Lowman Building was installed in 1906, the second clock for Albert Hansen. Here's his first, a few years earlier.

The post office cancel date is December, 1907.
