Description
English:
Papi Lajos Creative House. A former artist studio, that preserves the memory and part of the work of Lajos Papi (1921-1987), sculptor from Kisújhely, who lived and worked in this building until his death in 1987. The legacy of his works can be found here in his fine art collection, part of which can be permanently viewed in the courtyard of the Creative House and in the exhibition halls. In its garden are artworks a Lajos Papi bust by Sándor Györfi (2004 Bronze) and sculptures by Lajos Papi. In a part of the building used as school room since 2009. Visit only by appointment - 8 (or 10) Nyár Street, Kisújszállás, Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok County, Hungary.

Papi Lajos Alkotóház. Az Alkotóház Papi Lajos kisújszállási szobrászművész emlékét és munkásságának egy részét őrzi, aki ebben az épületben élt és alkotott 1987-ig, haláláig. Itt található műveinek hagyatéka a képzőművészeti gyűjteménye, melynek egy része állandóan megtekinthető az Alkotóház udvarán, valamint a kiállítótermekben. Az épületben látható a kisújszállási Szalma- és Csuhéfonók Baráti Társasága Egyesület egyedülálló Szalmavilág című állandó szalmakiállítása, ahol többek között a Csukás meseszobában szalmából és csuhéból elevenedik meg a népszerű író mesevilága. Hétköznap tekinthető meg előzetes egyeztetést követően: (59) 328-083. - Az Alkotóház műterem részében 2009 óta az Alapfokú Művészetoktatási Intézmény képzőművészeti tanszaka kapott helyet. 2024-ben Baptista Alapfokú Művészeti Iskola Nyár utcai telephelye OM azonosító: 201730 - A homlokzati Mozaik egy Szovjet művész ajándéka - Kertben/udvaron: Papi Lajos mellszobor Györfi Sándor alkotása (2004 bronz)[1]; ? c. alkotás (szikla bronzharanggal és mellszoborral); a Kisújszállási Ipartestület által 1891 aug 20-án rendezett kézmű, ipar kiállítás emlékére, és kb. fél tucatnyi fejszobor, a házfalon még 'Brüll Róza meghalt 5656 szibán 17//Virágtó 19.ik évében' héber magyar feliratos sírkő /kozterkep.hu/ '71. HV 143/1 Papi Lajos Alkotóház „Diószeghy báró villája” (Nyár utca 10.)' nyilvántartási számon, védettségi kategóriában, hrsz.-on, megnevezéssel, címen Nemzeti Jogszabálytár 2023-as rendelet alapján helyi védett - Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok megye, Kisújszállás, Nyár utca 8.
