Nederlands: Ssst…Tijger slaapt. Burgemeester Lenferink heeft de kleuters aan zijn voeten in de locatie van BplusC in de Merenwijk. Hij leest het verhaal niet voor, hij draagt het voor en heeft voor de gelegenheid zelfs een eigen tijgertje meegenomen om de kinderen optimaal te betrekken bij het verhaal. Volgens Marie Matthijssen, projectleider Bibliotheek Onderwijskansen bij BplusC, is dat de beste manier om voor te lezen. Zij raadt ouders aan minimaal een kwartiertje per dag voor te lezen. Goed voor de taal van het kind, voor de emotionele ontwikkeling, stimulans voor de fantasie en nog veel meer. Maar vooral elke dag een heel erg fijn moment samen voor ouder en kind.
