Summary

[edit]
Description
English: This image is a false coloured scanning electron microscopy image, of two nanowires composed of Germanium Antimony Telluride. A gold tip can be seen(coloured red) at the tip of one of the nanowires. This gold tip is a by-product of the chemical vapour deposition method used to produce the nanowires, in which the nanowires intiate growth from gold "catalyst seeds".
