| Description | Water frog (Pelophylax aggr.) in the Nature teaching Area Buchwald, Canton Lucerne, Switzerland. With water frogs, exact identification is difficult in Switzerland because all water frog species can interbreed and invasive species are also mixed in. This is why researchers also speak of water frog complex or water frog aggregate. They occur in several ponds and pools in the Nature teaching Area Buchwald. | ||
