Description
English: A screenshot from the KGLD NEXRAD radar, which shows a storm with a confirmed tornado southwest of the town of Idalia, Colorado, on August 8, 2023. In this screenshot, the bounded weak echo region (BWER), where the tornado was located, was observed at a beam height of 2,754 feet (839 m) on the base reflectivity radar, which measures in dBZ. The pink outlines are observed tornado warnings, which were issued by the National Weather Service.

Thus all NEXRAD images are public domain.
