Title |
NCL-4D2EA8: A cast bronze strap-slide of the Roman period. |
||
Description |
English: A bronze strap-slide of the Roman period.
The strap-slide can be described as 'eye-shaped', with a circle placed in the center of a pointed oval. The surface is relatively smooth in texture, but composed of rounded surfaces and small, flat planes, giving the object a slightly 'rough' and 'chunky' appearance. The loop is integrally cast with the object and runs centrally on the long axis. |
