توضیحات درون فیلم:

این فیلم که گزارشگری کوتاه و راستین از زندگانی سیاسی دکتر مصدق مظهر استقلال ایران و پیشگام نهضت‌های ضداستعماری است به خواست جبهه ملی سوم ایران توسط انتشارات مصدق تهیه شده است و تقدیم می‌شود به ایرانیان آزاده.

توضیحات سایت انقلاب اسلامی در هجرت:

مخارج ساختن این فیلم توسط آقای هدایت متین‌دفتری تهیه شد. عکس و بخش‌هایی از فیلم را آقای هدایت متین‌دفتری از ایران برای آقای ابوالحسن بنی‌صدر که در پاریس بود فرستاد. آقایان ابوالحسن بنی‌صدر و حسن حبیبی فیلم‌هایی از مصدق را در سینماتک پاریس انتخاب کرده و سپس خریدند. آقایان ابوالحسن بنی‌صدر و حسن حبیبی به لندن رفتند و به اتفاق آقای علی متین‌دفتری، نوه دختری مصدق، فیلم را تهیه کردند. متن فیلم توسط آقایان ابوالحسن بنی‌صدر و حسن حبیبی نوشته و با صدای آقای علی متین‌دفتری خوانده شد. این فیلم برای اولین بار در اجتماعی در زاربروکن پخش شد که مورد استقبال گرمی قرار گرفت. در روزهای اول انقلاب که هنوز مصدق تحریم نشده بود، فیلم توسط تلویزیون ایران پخش شد.
